SIDLAK SERVICES CARAVAN

As part of the city’s 60th Charter Anniversary celebration, the Local Government Unit of Danao City has officially launched its “Sidlak Services Caravan”.

This was first introduced and brought to Barangay Baliang last June 3, 2021, followed by Barangay Masaba (June 10), Lawaan (June 17) and Barangay Taytay (June 3).

Services include:

-Free medical consultation,

medicines and vitamins,

random blood sugar test,

dengue test,

blood typing,

HIV test,

Hepa B,C screening;

-Free dental services (tooth extraction, dental pasta, fluoride application);

-Free veterinary services (anti-rabies vaccine for dogs, neuter);

-Free legal consultation/advice -Job listing / recruitment

-Mobile Registration (birth registration, marriage, clerical errors, etc.)

-Cedula Issuance

-Livelihood Program/ Online Life Skills Training;

-Business Permit Application;

-Ayuda Transaction (hospital/medical, burial, education assistance);

-Women’s /Children’s Help Desk;

-Senior Citizen Registration;

-Farmers’/Fishermen’s Registration;

– Free Insurance for crops and farm animals, Giving of Free Seeds

-Information Desk (Inquiries, Reports, Complaints, Suggestions)

-PhilSys National ID Registration

Based on the consolidated registration data from the first four barangays that were visited, more than 2,060 different services were already availed by the residents through this activity.

Under the leadership of Mayor Nito Durano and Vice Mayor Mix Durano, this will be a permanent program of Danao City Government wherein every month, Sidlak Services Caravan will visit a certain barangay to bring the city’s primary services closer to the Danawanons.
