JAIME A. DUTERTE JR., is the son of former city councilor Dra. Cynthia A. Duterte. Jaime A. Duterte Jr., also known as DUKE DUTERTE, used to work as a firefighter for (12) twelve years at Mactan-Cebu International Airport Authority. Sometime in 2016, while he was on his job, he got the opportunity to run as candidate as one of the Sangguniang Panlungsod Members of Danao City. He was hesitant at first, but fate told him to grab the opportunity, and so he did. He was elected City Councilor. Many years later and he is still one of Danao City’s beloved councilors.

 Throughout Duke’s term as councilor of the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Danao, he has worked on various projects. He is also handling the Committee on Accreditation and the Committee on Communication and Information Technology. His work helped thousands of Danawanons, finding new ways to improve the system here in Danao. Since then, Duke has always been devoted to helping people in need. Making the lives of the Danawanons a little bit easier. With the help of the Lord Almighty, and the guidance of the people around him, he has successfully fulfilled the roles and responsibilities as a public servant.

 When he is not working in professional engagements, Duke is a mechanic and a handyman at heart. He loves to work on cars and fix them. He also loves to do carpentry, making cabinets and custom furnitures by hand. He also loves music. He has a light and sounds system at home and loves to play music while he is working on things around the house or fixing cars. But by the end of the day, when he gets home, he is a great father of two.
