HON. ADANO TITO ROBLE
Serve the people. Adano “Danny” Tito Roble dedicated his life to serving the people. Born to parents Natividad Tito and Teogenes Roble, Danny was a spirited and Idealistic child. He believed in making things better for everyone. His exposure to business through his parents who ran a wholesale and retail store in Danao City Public Market paved the way to his love of service and leading to his political career.
In 1970, enrolled at Cebu Institute of Technology (now CIT University) in Cebu City and was introduced to a nationalist youth mass organization which was founded by late Jose Maria Sison. It was at this point where his desire for a better society was fueled by his passion to serve and bring change to communities.
In 1977, Danny became the Central Visayas Youth Coordinator of the Kabataang Barangay (KB) National Secretariat. He led leadership trainings and implementation of youth programs all over Central Visayas.
In 1988, he worked as a campaign coordinator for then Congressman Ramon “Nito” H. Durano III and his team in Danao City. In 1992, he worked as a district coordinator under the office of former Governor Vicente Dela Cerna and was in charge of the community development outreach programs such as livelihood trainings, medical-dental-surgical mission all over 5th district.
In 1995, he worked at the House of the Representative under the office of Congressman Ramon “Nito” H. Durano III as a Political Affairs Officer until 2005, under the office of then Congressman Felix Mari “Ace” H. Durano.
In 2019 and 2022 elections, he won as City Councilor under the Barug Alang sa Kauswagan ug Demokrasya (BAKUD) and named Chairman of the Committee on Trade, Commerce and Industry, Committee on Peace and Order, Public Safety and Human Rights and Committee on Senior Citizens Affairs.
Danny, as an individual and a public servant, believes that one must have a heart and compassion for others if one wishes to bring change for a better world. To serve the people is the highest form of service towards God and men.
