Danao City, Cebu — In celebration of Danao City’s 64th Charter Anniversary, the City Government successfully holds a four-leg Sidlak Services Caravan throughout the month of June 2025, bringing essential government services directly to the barangays.
The Sidlak Services Caravan kicks off on June 5 in Barangay Licos, followed by stops in Barangay Masaba on June 13, Barangay Danasan on June 19, and concludes in Barangay Dunggoan on June 26, catering to thousands of residents all in all.
Led by Mayor Mix Durano and Vice Mayor Nito Durano, the initiative provides free medical and dental check-ups, legal consultations, ayuda transactions, veterinary services, job listings, mobile civil registration, National ID enrollment, eye check-ups with reading glasses, and other frontline services.
The Sidlak Services Caravan is first launched in June 2021 as part of the administration’s priority to bring public service closer to communities. It continues today as one of the City’s flagship outreach programs.
Although the June SSC series has concluded, the same services remain available at the Danao City Hall Complex from Monday to Friday, while the Dayung Community Mobile Clinic continues to deliver medical services across sitios and puroks.
