The city comes alive with vibrant lights and festive decor as the towering Here and Now Christmas Tree stands as a beacon of unity and celebration for all Danawanons. Christmas cheer.
Adding to the festivities, the Kusina sa Danao opens its doors to the public, showcasing the city’s rich culinary heritage. Guests delight in a feast of local delicacies and flavors, prepared with the care and dedication that reflect the city’s values of love and community. The Kusina not only offers gastronomic
treats but also provides a space for shared moments and connections, embodying the true spirit of the season.
Delivering Mayor Mix Durano’s message during the event, Vice Mayor Nito Durano shared these heartfelt words: “Ning atong pagpasiga sa atong Christmas Tree, unta atong ikasing-kasing ang tinuod nga mensahe sa Pasko, sa Pasko sa pagkatao sa atong Labaw’ng Makagaahum – ang pag-inambitay. Ang pag- inambitay sa mga kadaugan, ang pag-inunungay panahon sa kapakyasan, ang pakighi-usa sa mga pangandoy, paglaum, ug pangindahay sa tanan. Naghinaut ko nga sa atong Panagtigum karon, atong mas masabtan ang atong papel isip usa ka dakbayan, ang modelong dakbayan sa Amihanang Sugbo.
