Danao City Government continues its journey to shape a sustainable, livable, and forward-looking Danao City through the Comprehensive Land Use Plan (CLUP) 2023–2032 & Zoning Ordinance PLUC Deliberation.

Kining mahinungdanon nga lakang, nga gipangulohan sa Danao City Planning and Development Office (CPDO), uban sa suporta nila Mayor Ramon “Nito” Durano III ug Vice Mayor Carmen Remedios “Ivy” Durano, aims to align the city’s future growth and development with sound planning principles and national policy standards.

Present during the deliberation were key officials and department heads from the City Government of Danao, alongside members of the Provincial Land Use Committee (PLUC) , including heads and representatives from the Provincial Planning and Development Office, DHSUD Region VII, DILG Cebu Province, Department of Agriculture VII, Provincial Agriculture Office, Department of Tourism VII, Provincial DRRMO, Department of Agrarian Reform Cebu Province, and the Department of Trade and Industry, who all provided technical insights and guidance to help refine and enhance the city’s land use and zoning framework.

Also present in support of the activity were Cebu Provincial Board Member and Committee Chair on Planning and Development, Hon. Antonio Bacaltos Jr., and Cebu Provincial Administrator, Atty. Ace Durano.

This collaborative effort marks another step forward in our shared vision of building a well-planned, future-ready Danao — where growth is guided, development is sustainable, and every Danawanon thrives, HERE AND NOW.
