21 barangays with 130 organized puroks heeded and showed their support for the above-mentioned programs of Danao City.

These programs were conducted to obtain the following:

First, to determine the primary needs of household members in every purok after months of crisis and lockdown and for those needs to be included as part of Danao City’s top-priority.

Second, to inform the Danawanons about the services of the local government that they can avail especially in times of adversities.

And lastly, to give them free seeds and encourage them to plant those for their own consumption. Prizes await to the houses and puroks that will win.

The Local Government of Danao, under the leadership of Mayor Nito Durano and Vice Mayor Mix, had prepared an aid to ensure that this Purok Functionality will continue. They also encouraged all the Danawanons to always coordinate with their purok leaders to air their needs and concerns.

The data that will be gathered from the puroks and barangays are vital for the local government to analyze Danawanons’ needs and for their needs to be included in Danao City’s developmental projects.

Vice Mayor Mix also extended his gratitude to all the barangays, hoping that their enthusiasm in serving and uniting the residents of every purok will carry on.
