MINI-CLINIC, NOW OPEN TO CATER RESIDENTS FROM BARANGAY LAWAAN AND ITS NEIGHBORING BARANGAYS

Officially opened last June 17, 2021 during the Sidlak Services Caravan in Barangay Lawaan, this Mini-clinic/ Triage Center located inside the CDRRMO Rescue 211 Lawaan Sub-station can now assist on the different medical emergency needs of the residents nearby.
The triage has licensed and trained nurses on duty 24/7, who can conduct Random Blood Sugar test, Blood Pressure check, first aid on minor injuries, treat wounds, nebulize patients with asthma, assist in catheter and NGT insertion and other basic medical services.
They can also perform emergency childbirth delivery in case the mother won’t be able to make it to the hospital. Present during the opening are City Mayor Nito Durano, Vice Mayor Mix Durano, City Councilors, Former Congressman Red Durano and Barangay Lawaan officials.
To recall, the Rescue 211 substation that houses this triage center was inaugurated on March 20, 2019, same date during the opening of the Danao City Police Community Precinct in Barangay Lawaan.
Under the Durano Administration, the City Government of Danao aims to distribute emergency health units and peace and order stations to the barangays to ensure the health and safety of the Danawanons.
