DANAO CITY’S TRANSITION FACILITY

August 2, 2021- As hospitals in Cebu Province reach capacity due to surge of COVID-19 cases, Danao City is now gearing-up for its new Transition Facility.

This facility will help in addressing Danawanons’ emergency medical needs, especially those who will suffer from shortness of breath and other moderate symptoms.

Danawanon COVID-19 patients with the above symptoms will be transported first in this facility for immediate medical attention while awaiting hospital availability. The Rescue 211 and Danao City Health Workers will oversee the patients here.

This Transition Facility can accommodate 30 beds on its first floor. Moreover, it has a nice, relaxing and over-looking view good for Danawanons who are recovering from the dreadful corona virus.

Overall, this adds up to the city’s existing Isolation Center located in Barangay Dunggoan, which on the other hand, caters asymptomatic and other Danawanons experiencing only mild symptoms. The local-IATF is currently finalizing the details and arrangements of this newly-constructed Transition Facility. It is expected to be turned-over this week.
