DANAO CITY ON STRICT HEALTH PROTOCOLS AND CURFEW ENFORCEMENT

Under the General Community Quarantine, Danao City continues to strictly enforce the Minimum Health Protocols and Curfew Ordinance within the city.

 

Through the unified efforts of PNP-Danao, CSWDO, Traffic Enforcers, AMIT, DREAM-7 force multiplier, Barangay Tanods and other deputized personnel, almost 500 curfew and Minimum Health Standard (MHS) violators were caught from August 1 to September 5, 2021.

 

Based on the data presented by PLTCOL Maria Theresa Macatangay, Chief of Police, 304 of these are curfew violators (259 adult, 45 minors) and 116 are MHS violators.

 

Meanwhile, 54 motorcycles/ motor vehicles were impounded during curfew hours.

 

Day and night, the city’s deputized personnel ensures that the Minimum Health Protocols and Curfew Ordinance were strictly followed by the Danawanons.

 

The City Government of Danao, under the leadership of Mayor Nito Durano and Vice Mayor Mix, aims to slow down the transmission of COVID-19 through effective COVID-19 Contingency Plan, active frontliners, consistent information drives and strict enforcement of COVID-19 related protocols.
