A total of 1,394 clients from Danao City and neighboring communities benefit from the 2026 Ease of Doing Business (EODB) Month Fair, which gather essential government services in one accessible venue (City Civic Center) on May 28, 2026.

The initiative, spearheaded by the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) in partnership with the City Government of Danao and participating national government agencies, highlights the government’s continuing commitment to bring faster, easier, and more accessible public services closer to the people.

Residents avail themselves of various frontline services through the one-stop-shop setup, significantly reducing the time, transportation costs, and inconvenience often associated with visiting multiple government offices.

The event is graced by ARTA Director General Secretary Ernesto Perez and ARTA Eastern Visayas Regional Field Office Chief Administrative Officer Candice Dianne Parena.

Representing Mayor Ramon “Nito” Durano III, who is currently on an official trip, is Vice Mayor Carmen Remedios “Ivy” Durano, together with members of the City Council, department heads, and the LGU Danao Team.

The EODB Fair reflects ARTA’s thrust of promoting efficient, transparent, and citizen-centered governance by streamlining processes and strengthening inter-agency collaboration.

It also reinforces Danao City’s vision as a “Gateway of Opportunity,” where public services are made more connected, responsive, and inclusive for every Danawanon.

Align with Mayor Durano’s Connectivity Agenda, the initiative underscores the importance of strong collaboration between local government units and national government agencies in ensuring that essential services reach communities “HERE AND NOW.”

In a message delivered by Vice Mayor Ivy Durano on behalf of Mayor Durano, the mayor emphasizes the significance of inter-agency cooperation in improving public service delivery.

“Today, pinaagi niining Grand EODB Fair, ato’ng gipakita nga kung magtinabangay ang national ug local government, mas daghan ta og mahatag nga serbisyo ngadto sa ato’ng katawhan. Dako kaayo’g kahulogan nga daghang serbisyo sa gobyerno ang madala dinhi sa Dakbayan sa Danao pinaagi sa usa ka one-stop-shop setup,” the message stated.

Participating agencies include the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA), Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth), Land Transportation Office (LTO), Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), Government Service Insurance System (GSIS), Department of Migrant Workers (DMW), Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), Department of Health (DOH), Social Security System (SSS), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB), Pag-IBIG Fund, Food and Drug Administration (FDA), LANDBANK, National Police Clearance System (NPCS), and other partner agencies and local government offices.

City officials express gratitude for the opportunity to host the activity and conveyed hope for more initiatives that strengthen government accessibility and bring meaningful services directly to the people.
