May 15, 2026 β The City Government of Danao, together with the officials and residents of Barangay Mantija, formally inaugurates the newly completed Box Culvert and Road Concreting Projects aimed at improving accessibility, safety and connectivity within the community.
The inauguration is attended by Mayor Ramon βNitoβ D. Durano III, City Councilors Atty. Glee Delicano, Roland Perez, and Jed Almendras, alongside Barangay Mantija officials led by Punong Barangay Jufel Gungob and members of the community.
The projects are part of the city governmentβs continuing commitment to infrastructure development under Mayor Nitoβs Connectivity Agenda, which focuses on strengthening the connection between communities, public services and opportunities through sustainable and people-centered development.
The newly completed box culvert is expected to improve water drainage and provide safer passage for residents, especially during heavy rains, while the road concreting project enhances mobility, transportation access and day-to-day travel for the people of Barangay Mantija and neighboring barangays.
