Danao City delegates visited renowned museums in Bat Trang Pottery and Ho Chi Minh City— two cultural powerhouses known for heritage preservation and tourism excellence.
Bat Trang, famous for its fusion of centuries-old pottery tradition and modern innovation, stands as a model of how culture can drive local economy and global recognition.
Headed by Mayor Nito Durano and Vice Mayor Ivy Durano, the delegation studied museum systems, heritage curation, and sustainable tourism strategies to strengthen the ongoing phase three construction of Danao’s museums and uplift the city’s pottery industry.
The delegation also closely examined infrastructure design and the strategic development of open public spaces and landscapes recognizing that well-planned, people-centered environments are vital in elevating tourism, strengthening community identity, and ensuring sustainable urban growth.
More than a visit and a cooperation with Lao Cao province, it is a commitment to protect and preserve Danao’s history as a living treasure, to position culture as an engine of inclusive growth, and to ensure that the rich heritage of Danao City will thrive— not just today— but for generations to come.
