August 11, 2025 (Danao City) – The City Government of Danao records a significant 87.5% reduction in priority crime incidents from June to July 2025, reinforcing its steadfast commitment to public safety, peace, and community development.

In a coordination meeting Monday morning, Mayor Nito Durano, Vice Mayor Ivy Durano, former City Mayor Mix Durano , and department heads receive a briefing from the Danao City Police Station, led by PLtCol Herix Bancoleta, on the latest operational accomplishments of the local police force.

Former Mayor Durano continues to provide strategic guidance to the current administration, ensuring that the city’s governance roadmap stays on its planned course-  one that prioritizes order, safety, and sustained progress for the entire community.

From eight recorded priority crime cases in June, Danao City reports only one case for the entire month of July 2025. This notable decline is accompanied by national recognitions earned by the Danao City Police, including:

Top Performing Component City for the Individual Commander’s Evaluation Rating (ICER) as of May 2025; and

Top 3 Unit in the Unit Performance Evaluation Rating (UPER).

“These results are a testament to the strong collaboration between the Danao City Government, the Danao City Police, and the active participation of the Danawanon community,” Mayor Durano says. “Our collective effort moves us toward a safer, more peaceful, and progressive Danao.”

The City Government urges all residents to sustain their involvement in community programs and safety initiatives, emphasizing that peace and development are shared responsibilities.
