Roland Mayol Perez was born on August 26, 1959, in Danao City, Cebu, Philippines. A proud Filipino by birth, he has dedicated his life to public service and leadership in his hometown and beyond.

Early Life and Education

Perez completed his elementary education at Maslog Elementary School, later attending University of San Carlos โ€“ BHS and Pasig Catholic College, graduating in 1973. He pursued secondary education at Pasig Catholic College and Sto. Tomas School, finishing in 1977.

His academic journey continued with higher studies at Colegio de San Jose-Recoletos and the University of the Visayas, where he earned degrees in BS Industrial Engineering and AB Political Science in 1998. He also pursued Bachelor of Laws at the University of the Visayas, completing nine units in 1999.
